Hi everyone,
This is a work in progress, but we made a couple of changes:
-New members are now "Junior Members" until they hit 25 posts, at which point they'll become full members.
-In order to create a sales thread (ISO/trade/sale), you must be a full member (have 25 posts). Anyone can comment on any sales thread
We're hoping this will encourage people to be active forum members and not just come on here to buy and sell. As always, feel free to provide feedback and suggestions.

Not that hard to get 25 posts, so I don't think it is a big deal, although it does encourage quantity over quality to some degree, at least in the beginning.

I think it's appropriate to say that from what I've witnessed from the admins and the mods (i exclude myself here) that they are putting quite a lot of hours and doing all they can to make this place work. It's all very new, it'll take a while to get exactly right. it's also amazing how many different views there are on here too, so thanks for your patience and hoping you continue to remain as patient as you have, we all want the same thing |

not really a big issue but why a min of 25 posts for an ISO ... ? just figured it would be easier to understand if the rules were the same for all 3 categories, plus I think it works both ways - you want to know both buyers and sellers are active forum members. I don't think anything we could do would be perfect. We'll try this and see how it works out. We can always change it if something else seems to make more sense |
