Besides being pleased for Axel as he is a nice guy, the only thing that impressed me was the possibility to see a Jenny Holzer light show in person.

I was impressed to see that Thierry Guetta is not involved. Many would think his large scale pieces would be a good fit for Dismaland, thankfully someone thought otherwise.

If I didn't have to schedule out my vacation days 90 days in advance, I'd fly in from the US and go to this show. Dammit. So cool - and a great lineup. I think he'll have a few of his own pieces as well...time will tell - at least I'll be excited to see pictures posted from members of the board from those who can go! I had heard discussion of a print involving a dog and a cage filled with balls....not sure if that has any basis...

I am sure you'll see people scalp tickets in front of the event as well.

So it seems the majority of artists are submitting pieces for the galleries? ie. Josh Keyes latest print is disney related, so perhaps he's done a few OG's for the show? nice to see his 'Stampede' up on the Events page.. Be great to see Massive Attack there.. Nice artists line up although everyone was thinking (rumours) it would be old school Bristol artists like Inkie, Walker,Jargo etc.. you'd think Banksy would have picked these also? I may be wrong but I cant see the public turning out to this like the museum show? as its not all Banksy? and unlike us guys the public wouldn't have heard of many other artist? Although 3 quid is nothing for a day out - will be interesting to see the numbers.. I know one who have participated " in a way "... I sw an awesome poster.. ( Not the one up there ) |

So locals only then this Friday! I'm based in bristol just outside of wsm so probably rules me out but the bright side is I have tons of mates who live in Weston, I know they will go inside and have a look for me or I'll just use there ID and stroll in  |

I just got done watching a Gone With The Wind documentary narrated by Chris Plummer. From a producerial point of view, I suspect Selznick had a much harder time than Banksy.
