Maybe a daft question but with it being all ticket now do you still have to queue long? I'm due to go for a morning session that only lasts 3 hours and I'd be fed up if I spend 2 of the hours waiting to get in if you have an 11am ticket you don't have to be out at 2 dude. You can stay till 6pm. Queues to get into the park are fine. Some exhibits inside will have queues but doesnt take long and if you catch it at the right time you may be fine an not have to queue at all

As someone said you need at least like 4 hours to look around. Plenty to see and do

I did take a load of photos of the art in the galleries, but my camera's so crappy, I didn't want to do the paintings a disservice.
Just so much to look at there. The galleries alone are worth going for.
Anyone else like the Greg Haberny shooting range installation outside? I thought it was ace. I wish I'd seen him making it.

Absolutely, for £3, or £5, it's tremendous value for money. I was introduced to some superb new artists. But, as has been said, i didn't feel 4(ish)hrs was long enough. Fortunately i'd booked 2 sessions back-to-back so got to enjoy things a little more. You may be doing your camera a disservice Dr. Plip, your photos are terrific and insightful. Thank you. So many little details in the show have been carefully considered. Thank you to everyone involved, particularly the staff on the ground.

The entry fee is a bargoon. Hats off for that. Makes it accessible to a lot of people. Speaking of which, while I was queuing, I started chatting with the couple in front of me. They were in WSM for the week, saw the queue and joined it without even knowing what the were queuing for

I'm shameless, but no luck so far so I'm giving it another go... If anyone is willing to grab a program for me, I'm all in on cost, shipping, and the most dismal-est beer that money will buy in WSM.

I know none of you charming folk would anyway, but can I just politely request that nobody bids on or purchases items stolen from Dismaland.
I've so far seen a few ducks, some signs and now a model policeman from the Cauty dire-ama (see what I did there?) on eBay.
Please don't encourage this trade in stolen items.

I started making a sandcastle in the kiddies play area at Dismaland, but a member of staff told me "Do not damage the sand".

We've all checked the WSM charity shops for secretly donated Banksy items and reasonably priced used jigsaw puzzles, yeah?

2nd visit and I've still not managed to see everything. Was a great atmosphere lastnight, good to see some of you. Dj yoda and the rest were quality, whole place had a real SE corner of Glastonbury vibe about it. Inspiring event that's for sure

In case anyone else is interested, i've been fascinated with digging deeper into Paco Pomet's work since seeing it first hand at dismaland. I've contacted all 3 galleries that carry his work and was surprised to learn his paintings cost (much) less than I would have thought. the 60x80cm works are generally priced between $5-6k and to my eyes that's an awful lot of talent for the price point. I just grabbed one at richard heller called tempest as was too much to resist for my eyes and thought i'd pass along galleries should anyone else have an interest after seeing it for themselves at the show. very interesting work to my eyes and can't beat the price. Those bleeding nature scenes are amazing at dismaland pacopomet.es/en/contact/

I grabbed this one Andy. My eyes were attracted to his emotional brushwork in black and white contrasted with rich colors. The bleeding trees were the best for my eyes but that is all subjective. There are nice examples at all of the galleries though nothing bleeding that i could find. Very nice rich blue bodies of water or stuff from his blob series which is what i went for:

Ha ive looked at that piece online quite few times, also the boat race piece with similar sky, i agree the contrast of the blk/white with colour in sections like this or bleeding nature pieces has great impact, i love the direct confident brushwork as well, really nice pick up Lee, thanks for sharing.
