Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Don't worry about being stuck with tickets as I will certainly take them off your hands if more than one person gets lucky and then can't find another buyer. Although I am sure that won't be a problem! Cheers

Went on Monday at 7pm and it was proper DISMAL weather. Strong winds and drizzle. Nice. Arial the Mermaid was nowhere to be seen either. Found out the next day that she'd been blown over along with other shit in the park and that they had to close up and kick everybody out for safety reasons. p.s. not my pic http://instagr.am/p/7qovl_gbPC

do you need a seperate ticket for the night? Only got the one ticket for 7 When I went I probably got in about 11.30 and left about 4.45 I still never felt like I'd seen everything! Yes - similar here and even the kids would have happily stayed longer.

I finally made it there yesterday daytime (thanks to a member here helping me snag some tickets) and was really blown away by the whole thing - I thought it would be good but wasn't prepared for how much I enjoyed it. Seeing the Reaper in his dodgem was a real joy. Wish I'd paid less attention to the photos in advance though as I did feel that I knew what was coming next to a degree. My kids (13 & 10) loved it - we did all the rides, argued with the staff, etc What was interesting was how the kids either knew already or understood from the work what the issues/messages being put across were. In fact the only thing my 10 year old daughter didn't like was the guy in the insect/bast headdress thing creeping up on people. All in all a great family day out despite a total of 5 1/2 hours in the car. I've got a spare Dismaland guide that I'd like to pass on to someone who for whatever reason can't make it. Let me know if you'd like it and I'll choose a worthy recipient. ] Not sure if it got missed or if everyone is sorted for Dismaland programmes - if no one wants it I'll file it and sell it for a small fortune in the future. Let me know if you do though. Cheers E

Hey guys - I'm new to the forum as I wanted to ask a quick question about Dismaland! (Sorry I know there's probably a lot of that right now). I was just wondering if anyone had any info on the best way to get tickets for Massive Attack on the 25th? My boyfriend and I went to Dismaland last week and loved it, but we're both now even more desperate to see MA play there than we were before haha. I'm from Bristol and seeing that gig would just be unreal. Any tips from those who have managed to get tickets for the other events at all? Thanks in advance

My advise would be to make sure your on the tickets page in advance of the sale time and be ready to check out as fast as you can. Good luck, I imagine a lot of us will be after these tickets.

Dismaland has been interesting. I think the effect of it has been felt well outside the walls of the Tropicana.
That Poison Apple piece by ZC really sums it up.

I have very fond memories of The Mark Thomas Comedy Product. Probably the first TV show that opened my eyes to what goes on in corporate Britain.

The 1st time i ever came across him was him doing a bit on tv at a drive through mcdonalds. Doing all sorts of crazy shit like sending a car of clowns through and a tank etc. It was fantastic, there was no other programme like it on tv at the time. As you say, a real eye-opener.

I first saw him at Glastonbury, many years ago, and have seen him many times since. If you get a chance to see his 'play', Cuckooed then take it. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/undercover-with-paul-lewis-and-rob-evans/2014/sep/03/undercover-police-and-policing-espionageEdit - if you follow him on Facebook, you'll be kept up to date with protest and direct action. There's a lie down in Chester soon... www.markthomasinfo.co.uk/chester-event-details/
