gonna go with the Robbo tribute. Not much to say about it except a very classy move to include it and I'm sure his friends, family, and fans appreciate it
Haven't seen this one yet.
Thank you to the forum members publishing content from the show. I won't be attending, so I'm grateful. It's clearly the best place on the net to get a first hand look.

I'm not sure I get which you're saying. Dismaland is Banksy's Metallica Black Album, meaning it's the one where he trims off the edge to appeal to the widest possible audience, or Spinal Tap's Black Album, where it's a big fuckin' joke? Neither? both? another Black Album I don't know about?

Its okay I was being fairly esoteric I just meant it was darker and something you'd not think would be 'released' considering it's such a damning critique of the very people it's hoping to attract...

ahh gotcha. would consider that more of a "Metal Machine Music" then
This Hirst piece in interesting. For those who have seen it, is the ball stationary? Is it being blown up in the air by a fan concealed under the grid in the center of the piece? Or is that grid meant to be a drain?

I believe it's supported from air coming up from the grate. I remember seeing another installation that was similar. but maybe it was also Hirst?
If it's being blown up in the air, that particular piece doesn't speak kindly to the art market these days, does it?
The same structure that supports, has the potential to destroy. The fact that the base is angled inwards makes me believe the ball is metaphorically filled with something like liquid assets, money. The liquid assets are feel to flow into the center grid, which doubles as a drain, once the fan is turned off and the ball is busted.
So...
Ball = an art movement like "street art", or maybe one particular artist. Angled base with knives, fan, and drain (when fan is off) = art galleries, gallerists, power players.
Shit, could be any inflated market, I guess. Real estate, stocks, etc.

Hirsts work and particular auctions where his managemrnt has propped up his work sum it up

Something pretty, fun, but ultimately hollow, inflated and kept in place by artificial fans?
When I look at the floaty ball above the knives thing, I just get a feeling of tension. And as a child, most of my family's trips to the seaside were a tense affair. Some fun, but never really far from something going horribly wrong.

Anyway.
You as well?
Did you get to share an ice-cream too?

I remember my mom being hungover and throwing up while I was having my picture taken with a Disney character. yay childhood!

That sounds dismal. Do you still have the photo?
I got both my feet run over by the family car on one holiday. With all my family inside it at the time. Yay childhood!
