A great friend from the other forum asked me if I wanted one - he east here - but, right now, I am broke No Payday yet. |

I wonder why Upfest didn't respond? I emailed them again.... They had so much to do, from dawn til way past dusk. Boards were still being prepared after artists registration. There work was never ending. I suspect time got away. |

It was a handfinished I am not a child print. Really love it and its getting framed straight away. Upfest was extremely busy so not suprised if they haven't got back to emails |

badbay would love to see some pics, which colour did you go for? I must thank feralthings for picking me up a print. Thankyou mate, it will take pride of place with Dales other pieces. Look forward to receiving it. Really disappointed not to have made it, looked like a great time was had by all. Definately not gonna miss out next year. By hook or by crook I WILL BE THERE  Thanks for all the pictures posted

Hi guys, after missing out on several Dale items (always 15 minutes too late!), I managed to secure a pair of the oil pastels. Once received and framed, I'll post pics. In the meantime for those that missed out, I got this email below about a release today: "Dale VN Marshall today releases the 'I am not a child' hand finished print series in multiple colourways (online) . This will be the last print run at this size and price. The series is based around a real life personal experience and overcoming battles with mental health. After being released from hospital in 1999 Dales life was damaged to the point of needing care for a number of years with an inability to cope on a day to day basis. Marshall again became a child at the age of 25 and could not make any decisions of his own. 'I am not a child' celebrates overcoming this difficult period of time. He is now able to make concious decisions whilst watching his young children wonderfully and freely express their painting around the kitchen table. This reflection has informed the series with raw childlike finishing that has the feel and look of an original work on paper. *If anyone has reserved via Upfest please do not re-order online. We would like to express our thanks to the Upfest team for the installation of the large work- (Picture above). The prints will become live at www.Dalemarshall.bigcartel.com at 6pm BST tonight on a first come first served basis. They are available to view now." |

There was a post on Dale's facebook yesterday day along the lines of any unsold at 10 would held back for inventory I think this just refered to the apple and Shiraz ones I misread it and thought it included the charcoal ,my bad as the youngsters say

This looks like an amazing little body of work from Dale,once again, would love to of had the chance to see these in the flesh.Don't think photo's on a screen could possible do them justice. |

Here's some photos I took at the weekend of a couple of Dale's canvases that he's currently got in a group show at Loughran Gallery down in Chelsea. It sounds like he's left Rook & Raven and is represented by Loughran so I'd assume he'll have a show with them sometime in 2016.   |
