Congrats to the Scotish good result. First half and early second half was absolutely brilliant to watch really enjoyed it.
Japanese just lacked the power to score against them then were knackered.
Mind first half was really close real end to end stuff cracking game and a well deserved win in the end

Not a bad start start for England..3am and 5am ko's here in oz.. I'm going to be knackered in work, but excited as hell and will watch as much as I can  Cmon Wales!! We have lost 2 of our best players before tournament started which is not good. Problem with all teams apart from the all blacks is lack of depth in squad. I watched the AB's smash Australia last month and they are strong favourites but hope there are one or two upsets. The AB's problem is they have an easy group and who to select? Hopefully the rugby gods will be on Wales's side and we beat England in twickenham. Would love to be home for this and to you lads who are going enjoy Beat England at Twickenham..... I am always pessimistic playing England, talk about digging deep, so many injuries etc. and they still pulled it off..for me this result is as big as winning the tournament. Fiji next with depleted squad I think we will just scrape a win, I will be switching passports next week supporting the Aussies also but I think England could just pinch it on kicks. |

Fair play, Jeez. Good win. Very disappointing from England though - I felt they had the opportunity to put the game to bed on numerous occasions.
I think England will beat Australia and Australia will beat Wales, meaning that the big three will all have lost one. Then it comes down to bonus points and points difference.
Let's see.
Pressure on England though, for sure.

Huge weekend of rugby coming up. The AB's looking good although Ma’a Nonu has an injury and was missing  brilliant player and hope he makes it back. We played well against Fiji and run the ball more, Fiji's defence was awesome to be fair, we missed the bonus point but it's all on England v Australia. Cmon Australia going to be a cracking game it will be close but have a feeling farell could end up punishing them with penalties. Whoever wins this group could get to the final if they beat Ireland.. |

Did you drown your sorrows fella?? i was worried for you as you didn't tune in here for a few hours we never beat Australia but if we do we will get to the final, I think if Australia beat us they will beat Ireland also and get to the final. It's funny I live here in oz I have the passport but can't really back them in anything and haven in 13 years. But this morning my little 4 yr old princess watched the second half and in her Aussie accent (copied me ) and said 'bye bye England' I should back the Aussies more as they have let me live here I suppose and my kids are Aussies so I may get behind them if they knock Wales out. |

If it wasn't for your injuries I quite fancied your boys to be in with a shout. Also thought Eng at home had a chance as not a great side in it but must say was impressed with the Aussies last night so reckon them or the Kiwis to do it. But think it would be mega if Ireland or Wales took it but the Aussies looked a bit above them as they destroyed England. Relatively easily but you never know in a one off game but good luck fella
Not mentioned Scotland as think they will not cope with their side of the comp in the quarters.

Agree mate I think it will be a Southern Hemisphere winner. I watch every Aussie and AB game over here and a month ago the ab's smashed them and it could have been 60points! But yesterday folley played amazing an pockcok and hooper are best In the world when playing well. I would love to see a European side in final so it's north v south. Well See.. a lot of rugby left. Rugby 7's yes when we lived there went a couple of times missed the last couple so if you ever fancy it let me know also Dubai is brilliant. Not been to Dubai since the new stadium but used to play in it (not for UAE) but in the local tourney at same time. That used to be a cracking tourney due to the environment and the amount of boozing. Not been since it moved though but pretty sure still good.

CMON WALES!!! Aussies have beaten us 10 in a row FFS and my directors constantly wind me up after every loss.. Folley, Beale and pocock surely can't (I'm praying they won't) play as good as they did last week v England .. Wales will win lots of line outs and win the game by 6 points... Also Hopefully good times for Welsh football..please qualify for a tournament in my lifetime , it should happen tonight |
