Right we're off and it's looking good for England after 20 minutes.

Average performance but I'll take 5 points and a 24 point margin against Fiji any day. Onwards!

Not a bad start start for England..3am and 5am ko's here in oz.. I'm going to be knackered in work, but excited as hell and will watch as much as I can Cmon Wales!! We have lost 2 of our best players before tournament started which is not good. Problem with all teams apart from the all blacks is lack of depth in squad. I watched the AB's smash Australia last month and they are strong favourites but hope there are one or two upsets. The AB's problem is they have an easy group and who to select? Hopefully the rugby gods will be on Wales's side and we beat England in twickenham. Would love to be home for this and to you lads who are going enjoy

I watched parts of the game on tv ... does it have any specific rules I should know? You have to have at least one odd-shaped ball to play.

Seriously though V best of luck to your boys real shame about the injuries. Eng don't look great and think that's because not a great side but will be interesting if they can become a strong team at home as it were as not sure there is a great side in it. Best of luck to all involved..........within reason of course

Didn't think there would be many upsets especially the Japanese beating SA. Well happy with he result. Gutted I didn't see it live, just watched the winning try with Japanese commentary on fox . Brilliant result!! Hope there will be one or two more upsets.

Great win, very unexpected that it would be a tight game, let alone a win for Japan... it's criminal that the BBC's coverage for this world cup game was Radio only...!?

Japan's win was nothing short of extraordinary, fair play to them. USA Samoa is the hardest to call out of today's games.

ITV's had the rights to all the world cups I can remember. Decent commentary on it too

Pretty sure Scotland getting hammered by Japan will make more English, Irish and Welsh kids enjoy their Rugby. Come on Japan!!!! Never mind independence kick me out if they lose!!

I enjoyed the game between Argentina - NZ. In the end, the argentinians couldn't hold on, though they had some pretty strong low tackles.

Not really into Rugby but as my daughter is playing at school she was interested. I have to say I've really enjoyed the games I've managed to catch so far.

Not many Dutch are into rugby, but I played it for a while so I am happy I can see the games in Netherlands as well.

Short turnaround for Japan but well done Scotland. Aussies defended well but dont think hey have enough flair in attack to win the tournament. They need to beat Wales (they always do) and England to avoid the AB's in the semis? Going on the games so far I think England will beat the Aussies by a fine margin.
How are France playing guys? I have t seen them yet?
