when i see what he does it reminds me ... every time - that there is a lot to be "said/expressed".
shame only a few people are trying to use a/the medium to say it.
it's like he's actually using a different lingua.
lingua bruta / vitae !

Blu has just completed a new (slightly existential) piece on the side of a neglected residential housing block in the San Giovanni neighbourhood of the Italian city of Campobasso. The photos are from a couple of the local newspapers ( CBLive and Quotidianomolise):

took a while to find this thread - mods ? punks.. rockers ... thoughts ? the more people post on the thread, the more visible it will be. or are you suggesting we adopt a better system for finding certain threads? i love suggestions

Easy to find with the search, I'd think?

Easy to find with the search, I'd think? yeah i thought that - but it wasn't... ended up going through my profile to see what threads i'd posted on .. not the best way. it's a mod decision - i can't modify my own view. as to the how ?? - not sure - subsections are an option > but then that's layout for you < never easy or simple !

I don't think it should be stickied. Perhaps the mods could add Italy to the subject, which would make it easier to get a hit on the search.

Common, don't be lazy. Start at the Homepage / Click "Search" / Go to "Where to search ... where the thread title contains" and insert the word "Blu" there / Got to "How to search and tick "display results as threads" / Press search / Results: 4 threads, two of which are related to the artist Blu, one of them started by yourself and the other one started by Denada. So overall, when starting at the homepage it takes 3 mouse clicks and typing the word "Blu" to get all possible results. What might help to eliminate threads with the word "blue" from the results in the future might be to add "Artist" and "Italy" to the thread title.

I enabled the bookmark option when the forum was created. That's probably the best to way to keep track of threads for your favorite artists. You'll get a notification at the top of the page when anything on a bookmarked thread has been posted
to use it, click on the board the thread is in, then click the little box next to the thread title, then under the "Actions" drop-down, click bookmark

To me, Blu's one of the very best. Pity he doesn't do any new prints.

To me, Blu's one of the very best. Pity he doesn't do any new prints. he's definitely up there. the fact that POW still has 5 different Blu prints on sale that didn't sell out, while Invader's Aladdin Sane sold out in seconds is truly perplexing

This monumental mural on the streets of his new home in Rebibbia - Rome. The painting depicts a clump of technicoloured greenery as it swallows the façade of a 7-story residential building, and is part of a series of works by a neighbourhood group called “Mammut” that is trying to redevelop abandoned green spaces in throughout the city.

There is so much worn out and cliche'd street art, but Blu is a fresh as it gets. He gets my vote for best active street artist... His stuff is truly amazing.
