The news seems to have moved some prints after years languishing in shops. Rennes, CMYK, Gaza Strip, all sold out. Headquarters looks to be next.

Blu has posted photos of two news pieces on his blog. The works relate to the long running No-TAV protests in the Italian Alps and the trial of two young protestors.

Something new from Blu painted in the Sicilian city of Catania which sits in the shadow of Mt. Etna. As always, the detail is just perfect:

Some awesome new pieces! Have to say the volcano is my favourite. War, faceless bureaucrats and rivers of blood! Probably shouldn't be my favourite should it.

on the subject of kmz - does anyone know if there is one for london ?
no doubt the "art-online community" / apps folks out there use them.
i think red bull tried to 'crowd create' one a few years back - but hope it failed.

It's a file type that stores images along with GPS data As an example it can show a route around a city with photos in specific locations that you can view on google earth Probably does more than that but that's how I've used it before

It's a type of file - which you can download then (kml or kmz) - open inside google earth (file > open) which then ... displays a map - covering.. in this case a list of places where blu art works art or were. I've just done a search and ... there's one for London - not sure how current it is.... but it's out there. interesting - but not sure how useful.
