I'm allergic to cats and petrified of that one! Is it really national black cat day? I can never work out if seeing a black cat or when one cross's your path is meant to be lucky or unlucky in Olde Albion folk lore?

Probably something to do with witchcraft or summin. I was told that if a black cat crosses your path, it's a bad omen and you're to return home. But do they mean your actual path where you live? Or is it just generally in front of you? And for what distance? I mean, there are a lot of black cats in the world and there's probably always at least one crossing in front of you somewhere. I'm sorry to hear about your condition. I guess black cats really do mean misfortune for you  |
