personally, I don't buy the whole copyright claim angle... hopefully it's all a big ploy to raise a ton of funds for the Extinction Rebellion protests and whatnot

Anyway , I cannot F5ing as I have only a phone. My computer is an old windows xp so F5 don’t march and opens « scripts » that make it bugging.. 🛑 Windows XP? You lucky merde. I lie awake at night dreaming of such a fast operating system. My computer runs on a combination of cave painting and hopes & wishes. What we lack in tech support, we make up with enthusiasm and a childlike sense of self, eh my friend? 2011 Macbook Pro here! Hasn't been able to take an update in 2 years, and can't run any Google Chrome plugins. Looks like the site is a Shopify site which is usually friendly for old beater computers

Angus ( Art ) wanted to sell me one, no I ask to bout one, he said that he has just to empty them .. I don’t know 🤷♂️ Well, we'll find out together. If Banksy sells and ships about a million cans, the Royal Mail's bomb squad can't intercept all of them. l 🤣😂🤣

I also like to think of Banksy as this naked figure, roaming the woods of Bristol, and flicking chocolate coins at people he comes across. I need to stop thinking about Banksy. Edit: I hate the word "tear". It always looks like tear. I'd prefer if it was spelled teer, but we all have problems.

Which is what I would say if I wanted people to lay off the f5-ing for a few days...

dodcoquelicot I heard that the B-Team were giving posters or something to the kids. That's great. And also explains the sudden increase in childless art dealers calling up the sisters they haven't spoken to in 4 years and asking 'Do you still have those 3 kids?'.

I have a hole in the ground, covered by a piece of tarpaulin. When I lived in a basement near Olympia, I had an enormous hole near the toilets and going through the pavement ( you could cross the road as a tunnel but i did not care about, never mind ) .. This flat was like cheese, with holes and draughts , windows were broken and hold with Cardboard and tape ( one night I was woke up with a big noise in tte room : a ( black ) cat entered and finished to broke the rest of one window ( it scared me lol - noise was very strong ! The door outside did not close and I met a guy in my kitchen near 2 am, and the most funniest thing was that party of darts 🎯 that I made : one dart felt in a little hole in the wall, I have never found it again ! What a life ! Anyway windows xp has a lot of holes and bugs too .. windows does not close 😆- bad scripts, hacking etc .. )! Ps Post edited because a lot of intuitive faults from the phone keyboard

I feel like we're veering away from the art on this thread. Should we start talking about framing options? And who we want to set up?

If I should be fortunate enough to be able to purchase an official Banksy mug, I shall place it inside a Perspex box, and give it pride of place in my living room, possibly on the floor, in the centre of the room, with all chairs, couch and the other furniture turned to face it. When I receive visitors, I shall say to them 'Yes, you are right to stare, that is a genuine Banksy mug', and they shall say 'Can I just read the meter and go?', and I shall say 'Have I mentioned I am Vegan?', and they shall say 'Several times now. You even wrote it down. Can I just go please?', and I shall say 'I've made muffins'.
I don't think we've been talking enough about the screwed-up Morrisey poster.

I think the welcome mat (and anything to do with the plight of refugees) might be a little weird to display in a domestic home setting. A bit like proudly having one of the deck chairs off the Titanic in your lounge.
Edit: But of course, each to their own, and the proceeds are going to be used for an overall good, so that offsets any potential awkwardness I guess.

I fucking love seeing the images of kids roughly holding up their creased free Banksy posters. Not a thought in their innocent little heads about which paper restorer they're going to pay a visit to on the way home from school.
Edit: Of course, this might lead to a (sort of) low-level child exploitation, as adults try to acquire free posters for themselves. But this is the modern world we live in. I hope those kids are fleecing the shit out of the art enthusiasts.

The cushions brought a smile to my face, 'Life's too short to take advice from a cushion'. Great advice. From a cushion.

Is there an irony that Banksy making work that directs us to examine the worst of human behaviours results in the worst of human behaviours?

I really really hope you get that banksy mug @dr.Plip I would like to get one of the banksquiat prints. Love the look of them! Big edition so hopefully not that super expensive. The rat clocks are great too. But i fear i can't aford them. The shirts and mugs are fun but to be honest, I am not sure what i would do with them. Probably just use them:) Same with the morisey poster. Fun as hell, but how would you display it at your home? Haven't figured out how to use those yet. The doormats are very nice! Strong pieces. But can't imagine a framed doormat yet... Maybe under/inside a glass table? The cans are in my opinion the best of the "merchandise". Will definetly try to get one of these! The refugee truck counting toy is great too. Did i forget something?
