Cannot believe he's gone. A true legend. Lucky enough to see the great man on his Serious Moonlight tour.

Shocked and sad at this news RIP.. I watched again a few months ago a documentary about him and everyone loved working with him. Great to watch him work. Didn't realise he released an album 2 days ago also..

Actually, this is more shocking for me as the day goes on. Grew up listening to Bowie. All the other trash I listed to has pretty much been dumped by the wayside, the only music of my youth that is still listenable is Bowie. The press will be full of politicos banging on about how impotrant Bowie was to them. I may play bandwagon jumper bingo to keep my self cheery. RIP David.a propa one off.

A brilliant artist. For all that my favourite Bowie moments all took place many years ago, his creativity was constant, and my admiration undimmed. Big fan of this one:

] Really was a legend. So much of what happened has a lot to do with him His own stuff. Mott the Hoople, Lou Reed Transformer took Reed to a new level, took Iggy from the pits and really helped Zeno become a producer. Amazing stuff and suppose when doing his last two albums he new exactly what was going on. So certainly adds a new dimension and sadness to those two pieces of work but also says a lot about him. http://instagram.com/p/BAZOzGov1Z0 http://instagram.com/p/BAZP3vkP1a-

Coming from Germany and having spent time in Berlin he will be missed. I think he means a lot to my fellow citizens for being such an important figure for Berlin.
I saw him live a couple of times, most memorable one was at an Open Air in 1990 ( together with Midnight Oil and the Pixies )

@fred:
Christiane F has a firm place in the life of every german born from the 60's onwards. I watched it again a couple of years ago and it's still relevant.
My kids will have to sit through it once they turn 14. This should send the message in a more powerful way than us uncool parents nagging! :-)
