Hi there !! I am back... So after deleting my account(TheBigBoss) on UAA, I came here to lurk active threads and slowly moved away from fine art and joined some "movie posters". Then I registered again at UAA under another username, not that this place sucks but it failed to pick up. Kudos to the ones who stayed here and others who joined. For those who are in both forums seeing duplicated content, you are very courageous  As for me, I know, I can be seen as a traitor or a fugitive. Sorry for that. SO I WAS BANNED ON UAA yesterday !! I know some users have been calling me names for expressing my opinion and speaking up and asking for me being banned, I pretty sure they will be happy to hear this (especially Wisky and Lroy). But I wasn't banned for what I said in some discussion, I spoke to CornishCrayon on Monday and he was indeed "silently" banned... So I bumped the CornishCrayon thread, Dr Plip and Coach reacted... the next day, Coach informed us Dr Plip was banned... so I wrote a post saying I don't mind sharing all other places (FB group, this forum) and that admin is selling stuff on FB, saying I will be next to be banned... I wash a be pushy then I got a full IP ban. Some others got 3 days ban. Anyway, Silky totally lost it. Flipping multiple prints on FB at crazy prices ! Never google for the guy, but he is really ugly - www.facebook.com/DanielJamesSilkIt sucks to know that this guy is earning monthly income thanks to his forum (remember money collecting from ads was never addressed) Just two questions: a) What happened to guys like JohnnyH and AndyH ? I would love to get JohnnyH's contact, if you know him, kinldy liaise with him and ask if it is OK. b) IP ban ? Anyone is using a VPN-like extension giving fixed IP to register again there and just lurk. Anyway, I still need a reliable VPN service for NetFlix/Fandor so if you know any good one, please share. I am happy to be back and I promise you to be nice and behave nicely. A big thumb up to Federation of Ideas for this !! Again, if you need a web-programmer to help with some codes and layout, I am here ! |

Indeed, it doesn't and this UAA remains the place to be. But as said some people here and there, it is sad to see our contributions (our own content and pictures) being used at the end of the chain by admin to earn monthly income. What can we do about it ? Not much sadly ! a) Have a courageous user who is willing to send a PM to all others to tell them about Silk behavior and about this place ? b) More search engine optimisation so that this forum comes first for some specific keywords c) Improve the look and make website better and more user friendly d) Have an hidden private category, in which, content from the other forum is copied into thanks to some basic web-sniffer and coding (pretty sure you can write post on ProBoard using email) |

I'm fine with them, but others seem a bit uppity about them and think they're some sort of insult to new members. Not as insulting as banning old members without any kind of warning or explanation, but there you go. |

Welcome back ZeBigBossAlways amazes me that Sulky constantly bites the hand that feeds him. His actions only cause this place to grow. I've never worked out why people accept it & go back after an unfair ban either. I have a lot of good friends on UAA. Hope one day they grow some balls & stop lining Sulkys pockets. |

Forumboard - the same Members - mostly the same Member interest - the same Layout - the same Threads titles and subjects - the same So I struggle to find a difference.... Is there even a difference..... O wait : Forum owner/leader/masterdonkeydickerder - Different ! So let's break it down further... UUA owner : Frustrated fella who sold all his Banksy art way to soon and hates to see his fellow investors buy big houses now. NBF masterdonkeydick : Fella who doesn't own any Pest controlled Banksy art and is never frustrated about his flips as he doesn't flip. UUA owner : Interested in hits and views. NBF masterdonkeydick : Interested in talk about art and certain animal parts. UUA owner : Deletes and blocks people but leaves the accounts in place to make it look like a lot of active members are there. NBF masterdonkeydick : Mostly busy with his own printing and making sure that there is enough donkeydick to go around for everyone. UUA owner : There to stir things up and generate hits and views. NBF masterdonkeydick : There to pry and investigate and has a full-on collection of all sorts of anoraks in his closet. I am not here to make accusations or draw conclusions and in no way am I biast. I'm sorry to anyone that may have got banned as a result of protesting (or even questioning) my removal from the UAA.
I'm unable to see any posts relating to my (or any other members) banning, as the management there likes to keep threads like that invisible to the general public. Dirty laundry in public and all that. But I wouldn't expect the management to give an explanation for any punishment bannings any time soon. That way, people can speculate and assume that there must have been a valid reason.
Anyway, worse things happen at sea. Pre-arranged boating accidents and all that.

It sounds daft, but I think liking and commenting on people's posts might help. If people take valuable time out of their day to share pictures, articles or information with other people, and then fail to get any kind of response, they're perhaps less likely to make that effort again in the future.
I'm not saying we should blow smoke up each other's asses (subtle donkey reference), but just acknowledging people's efforts might help to encourage more posts. |

I know one person who spoke on the same thread got a 3 days ban, check on forum and see if it says "full ban" or "temporarily ban" That guy Wisky lost it, stubborn and narrow-minded. It is possible that I am banned for trying to reason the guy but I know from experience you don't get banned for having reasoned discussion. I got ban because I bluntly said on Dr Plip thread that: a) I am happy to share the FB group and the other forum b) I was part of the few people who spoke and decided to create another forum c) I am next in line Pretty sure he got furious and angry angry... and went into a savage banning exercise I already enquired some months ago to ProBoard team, there is no way admin can read PMs... Sorry guys !! |

The only thing which stops me posting more here are the donkey dicks. don't personally have an issue with it but I can't have them on the screen at work and I can't at home when kids are around. Would suggest changing these as I may not be the only one.

All very odd, I never got to see the last few posts as he deleted the thread also I think the Cornish Crayon thread was deleted. It's not unreasonable to have an explanation of why someone is banned, but hey ho, he does what he likes I suppose. |
