In the real world i dont spend time around people who are pricks and its the reason i dont post on forums anymore, theres always certain people waiting to attack and start crap so theres no point, negatives outweigh the positives, i just talk direct to people i enjoy chatting to. Which part of Fake's post do you think Daniel Silk was liking? That Fake felt sad? Or that the banned members are all active on the "other side"?

Either way, is this a man that respects the members of his forum or their contribution to what makes him money?
I just can't get my head around how unliked he is. The number of times I've had messages from people saying what they think of him, but are too scared to post in public about it. And that includes forum guardians. How can a man that made such a popular site be himself so unpopular?
I'm on other forums and somehow other forum creators manage to get along with their members. I've never had anyone message me with a good or kind word about Daniel. Only complaints.
This makes me sad. |

Another important point is that we need to have terms and some committed people ready to moderate/admin the forum to discuss and agree on what this forum is all about... I think it should be a participatory and collective initiative, I don't want to sound like shit but it is important we speak about questions like who owns it, what's the cost, what about ads, etc... ProBoard terms are hash so whatever we say, at the end, it is still a one man thing. May be ProBoard is not the best platform ? The effort to have an IG, Twitter accounts is great. sɐǝpı ɟo uoıʇɐɹǝpǝɟ is it possible to have multiple admins on ProBoard ? I suggest we look at the first people registered here, contact them and see if they want to be committed to take shared costs, liability and blah blah and decisions taking. Like an association, share of cost, no benefits (if there is any, it is reused sanely), no god-like admin, no bullshit FG. Clearly, a more friendly, participatory forum about art (and less donkey stuff too, I like lowbrow humor though, big fan of Crumb), it would get lot of users. Then, for the rest, got lot of ideas, may be we could do a shared doc on Google Drive, a few of us, or group PM. As for the name, it is there. It is already on second position on Google. It has Banksy and Forum. And the "Not Banksy" is quite funny and may attract people more than the contrary. It has that rebel thing  I think you need to take a fucking breath and slow the fuck down.
