I struggle with that phrase. What, precisely, does it mean? I've always parcelled it up with phrases like 'Make America Great Again', or 'Bloody Muslims, all terrorists', or 'Well, if you're poor it's your fault.', or 'It's political correctness, gone mad!'. Y'know, phrases that stupid people use when criticised or simply challenged, so they don't have to think or justify their thoughts. But, hoping that you aren't a simple, mouth breathing, bovine fuck and that you had some clear, logical, transparent, explainable thought process behind its use, what did you mean by it? For me, this is about twenty years too late. Way too obvious, a sixth form reportage of poorly analysed events by another badly hyped chancer and bullshit artist. It was created 2 years ago and, even then it was truly, brain meltingly irrelevant. If you look closely at the, undoubtably Death Star appropriate paper, it doesn't feature a watermark. It simply has the descending claw marks of an irrelevant gallery gouged into the back, the AP version featuring an extra mark where they have attempted to climb again, then slipped back. Shite.
My opinion, of course. Is it true that this will come in a two print box set with the other Castle breakthrough, Kuntsrasen?
I have no objection to people making money from art, any more than people making money from newspapers, or records. Apparently lots of people buy the Mail and 1D. Remember, at least 49.5% of people are stupider than average...

If anything it should have been put out while BOTI was going to, to ride the hype. Nothing against the artist/gallery, but does his work really command £195 per print? I mean Pejac's Meadow was €200.00 and that was his 3rd print release. That's just my opinion, but I'm no gallery so what do I know.

I don't see much love/respect for fellow members, art, galleries, artists or opinions imo. A lot of bickering, trolling, offensive talk and then they hide and claim it is their right to vent their personal opinions. But by venting your personal opinion there is no need to offend art,artists,galleries, forum members or persons in general. It seems that people on these forum tend to forget the human aspect of it all. By typing on a digital platform they forget there is a human aspect involved. Just stating their 'facts' and claiming their rights (as a robot), not taking into account that there are real people typing and reading the comments.
It is very easy to type offensive stuff, tell artists their art is crap, laugh at other peoples opinions and in general bully people online. No way that those people talk to each other in real life like that, we are better than that. Imo; Just type how you would talk to each other when face to face.
No way that people would call an artist crap right in his face; If you don't like his/her art just don't go to that show. Why would you look up those artist and stand in front of them and then call them crap artists in their face? No need for that. Art is an emotional proces and it takes balls to show and sell your art. People will always judge, but do it in a friendly fashion. I thought we all had the same reason to join this forum... Talk about Art. Please; Talk about art then!
But this is my opinion and not directed to particular people. It was just something i had to vent while reading some threads on here.
