The question is - in fact : Is Sincura 2016 ( That I don't want to meat, in a truck or not , better on a fridge , freezed ) , parent with Futura 2000 ( that I met earlier in the 80 with Fab 5 Freddy signing then my jacket at the Bataclan, after some hip-hop And Africa Bambaata tracks ) ? Just a silly question for the Saturday night boredom fever ... edit I'm still working on this.

The best sitcom of the 90's and I am not ashamed also ? The new Brian Wilson autobiography is out and I'm hoping its ? not a brainwashed Brian like the first one love you Roy! <3

BOOM!
Proper Banksy speculation!
I was thinking that, regarding the Mr G signing. As long as an artist gives the go ahead and will never cry foul on it, they can get anyone to sign their name. If they're forever classed as authentic, nobody will really care about who made the squiggle will they?
Sorry, I've had a cider.
I would go ? even further and state that it is in fact the COA many people are buying not the art itself. Or perhaps i am wrong and perhaps the COA IS the artwork..... Would an official COA be worth anything without the artwork?

Would an official COA be worth anything without the artwork? It's funny. PC can destroy the financial value of a genuine Banksy piece by declaring it a fake. Or they can elevate the financial value of a fake or homage by issuing a COA. The COA (or its opposite) has way more effect than the aesthetic appeal of the item.
It's all about trust and wanting to own a little bit of the artist. Getting as close as you can to someone you admire.
We're back to spooning again.

I love this image and have fond memories of the period when the original was created. Happier, more innocent times. Sincura generates no fondness, but I like Mr G's take on the whole thing.

we need an artist who calls himself coa and who is only releasing coa's: "this coa certtifies that this coa is an original coa by coa"

I don't think the print is by Mr B. And I don't think anybody tried to trick the buyers by making them think it is or could be by Mr B. At least I can't find any evidence for that. I think it is just a very well done play on the meat truck by a very talented fan. I'm still sad because I couldn't afford buying it at the release. Didn't expected it to be that expensive. But as it is a well known printing company and it is a very good work, i think it is their right to make the price like it was. I'm with you on Gonefellow not being Banksy. There was no hinting prior and no hinting afterwards. Just an article. It does make me wonder how he pulled it off. It started out as a (very good) parody but then making an edition with a top notch printer and selling it trough a top notch gallery is something else. And not to mention PEST keeping quiet and not making a fuss regarding the original image being B and all. I know of some artist that got knocked about for a bit for using B's images. interesting point @json24. maybe it is a matter of quality and intention. not sure if pest would have been that quiet if gonefellow has made this into a print back in the days he firstly developed the image. he waited a long time and didn't made a huge show out of it. cg was very descent advertising it too. and i think i remember somebody (fragile or wiz?) said that mr b actually liked gonefellows version. maybe you get the permission to "use" his images if some things come together...

I remember very well when G posted his version on the forum ( Dismaland thread or another one ? ).. For the first times, since years, immediately , Fragile tagged G , telling him to already contact him ( and to find an " arrangement"- or I dont no what , he wanted it ). This comment have been deleted since..

But make sure to keep it as close to Mint condition as possible. If framed with tape or non uv repellent glass that can devaluate the worth of the COA

Talking of COA's what do you guys think of the COA's Castle Gallery made. I think they are hilarious! Such a creative way of making sure no one can forge one. AND it you have a leaky roof or building a small shed they come in very handy! I could see people try and buy more Gonefellow prints just to complete their shed.

What I find quite uncanny about the piece is its stylelistic similarities to the Dismaland gift print and the timing they were done at.
Must say at this point have seen neither in the flesh as it were. As my GF is in London and could not get a job at Dismaland. Seems I qualified on the grumpy fucker count just failed on the pleasant humour!!!

I framed it ( scotch , staples etc.., ) with the artwork as the support behind the print ( in the back ) And I used 2. Euros plexi ... am I wrong then ?

Keep this to ourselves, but I always wondered if he was commissioned by Banksy to draw the Dismaland map.
And by "commissioned" I mean kidnapped, held in a sheep pen on a remote Welsh farm and forced to draw.
Keep this to ourselves though.
SAY NO TO JOURNOS!

I was an " artist " - lol I hate this term - by the past , when I was old and moribund, and I know to recognize same authors . No doubt there. Now , after few strong beers, i M gonna eat my fatty cassoulet...
