Hey guys,
I could do with a bit of advise please... I've purchased an original that I've not received yet. I've been told it's going to be made into a print series. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing? is it ok to have an original that's been turned into a print series or is it better to have an original that hasn't?
Thanks in advance dani x

Original is always original. Nothing bad that it will be released as a print imo.

Keep the original… You won't regret it.

I agree and if the print is really popular then you'll have the OG on which it was based which I think is pretty neat.

think the above advice is good. also, was it craigf that said something to the effect that if your og is chosen as what the artist presents to the masses, you know you have a piece that they feel is worthy of this

I was in the same boat with this , although I did already have the painting when I found out. I was pretty chuffed that something I owned had be chosen worthy enough to be made into a print. I would say it adds more desirability/value to the painting..

Always a positive thing unless you are a wound up cunt like that issue Geddes had a while back with one of his releases and had to pull it. Here's two I have.
