I've been posting about eL Seed for a while now in the Arabic Graffiti thread but I thought it was about time I started a thread just about his work. eL Seed is releasing his first lithograph either tonight or tomorrow on his website. There doesn't seem to be many other details out there except that it's going to be quite large and it will look like the image on the right:  |

I think the guy is fantastic! 2 colors lithograph printed on Marinoni machine White paper BFK Rives – 270 grammes – Hand cut Numbered and signed on the left side corner 71,5 x 103 cm Lithograph shipped unframed $500 eL Seed used on this lithography the first four verses of the song Bilad Al Khayr from the popular Algerian singer Dahman Al Harrachi. He's also releasing these... $300 "Time stops but life goes on" 12 colors digigraphy White paper BFK Rives – 270 grammes – Hand cut Numbered and signed on the left side corner 75 x 54,5 cm digigraphy shipped unframed. Product Description eL Seed used the quote “Time stops life goes on” during the lost walls project when he stopped at the village Jerissa. Jerissa used to be one of the richest towns in Tunisia. Its iron resources made the town and the region a prosperous place for decades. Some people say the iron of Jerissa was used to build the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Today the city is deserted and the industry doesn’t provide as it used to. The youth is hoping for a better future and the elders live in the past. Time seems to have stopped in Jerissa, but life goes on. Attachments:

As he was nearing the end, the owner of the wall, who had agreed to the painting, objected because it was in Arabic. “I had forgotten the particularly violent brand of french Arabophobia normalized in mainstream culture, “said eL Seed. “For this man seeing an Arab man paint in Arabic surely scared him. “A week later, eL Seed returned in defiance and wrote “Open your heart” on a public wall nearby. jeezuzjonessnr yes it's a form of digital printing.as opposed to the litho printing the others are. Really nice move I think by him Think all of these are really good and at a grea price which ever ones chosen. Stunning work on these Really like the open your heart piece I bought the ne below from his last show in Dubai. Small edition with the blue all hand finnished. Really like it. Also he has done a canvas for me seen pics but not received it yet.

Dear all El Seed is down in Egypt at the moment working on a major street piece.
