Personally, I think just stick with the original offer of 2 and a book, thank you very much. If they made a load available for forum purchase, every eBay fake tenner forever more will be claiming to have come from the NBF Nepal fundraiser. But I can understand maybe offering the tenners individually. And I think if it can be arranged, a raffle would be a good way to go. Then the gods get to decide. Of course, I'm biased though. I don't have one and I don't see myself being able to afford one anytime soon, so a raffle would be the most attractive option for me.
Whatever's decided, thank you Laz for your generosity, and I hope you're not put off by the bureaucratic side of fundraising. It's worth it.

And clearly my eyesight isn't what it used to be. No way did I just see 34 pages of positivity turned turned into something so ugly & classless. For a moment there it looked like someone suggested Lazarides, whose generosity is already going above & beyond, offer even more so only a select few(forum members) could get their hands on a tenner. Then I thought I saw a gentleman that spent his own time & money to organize & coordinate thousands of pounds being raised for charity called a dickhead, for disagreeing with choice of words used to describe those that lost everything, including loved ones. Well at least once everyone agreed it be dropped, he let it rest & didn't throw in anymore snide remarks. Oh well, suppose it's off to the optometrist. Whew, just happy I caught this problem before I misread anything else!! You have the same writing style as dss11, is it you Dylan (spelling?)

Anyone who enters needs to leave a contact email, it doesn't have to be forum specific, winning confirmation email is in effect the coa (for those worried about these things).simple. Stop worrying about it being members or not, they have to read this place to know it's going on.

So is thing live yet or are we still trying to figure it out? Excited for another opportunity to give, especially if it means a chance for a tenner.

No not Dillon, although it's funny you would ask. Looking back through old messages on the other forum, I had in fact asked his advice on tenners just this past year.

Why to don't do both ? The lot with the book at auctions + one tenner on sale here? It could've private and locked. Not much publicity for eBay ( and anyway there will still have lyers everywhere ) , just had to need to put a number on it. ( or with z kind a coz ) , as this, everyone will know that it was strictly limited to members. Well just an opinion.. It si true that it Will give a lot of money for Nepal. And these tenners ( a lot I guess )! sleeping in suitcases ( :-)) Will sort And serve a great cause.... Anyway, I am not hypocrit ,I ve never been, I just tell the truth , now, I am not deciding , only Laz let will know. Sorry for my English ( sometimes it could give misunderstanding...

There are two notes and a book. Buy a shitload of raffle tickets, that's your best shot. You'll be helping Nepal with every ticket you buy. That's the point, right? Helping others. Not yourself.
Been up all night collaging, forgive my bluntness. Off to bed.

You could also donate a tenner to all the people who donated pieces of course... with all those thousands of tenners in that suitcase and all And for the book and the tenners : do a raffle on this forum. It's all about what we can raise for Nepal of course, make the most of money with a raffle.

Me too, I woke up on the left foot, my son upsetted me how lazy he is too ( he had to see a spectavles ) , and goes back to bed.. We know that it is for Nepal and for a great cause, but Mister Lazarides - thanks agiain to him - has offered first the idea to gave the primor informations ( and bids ) yo us, only the members of this forum. It is the truth . But well, we are not all fortunate to put 2000 quids on the lot. Who here ( we are 350, more than an half are not rich ) could bid until 10000 Pounds, even on 1000 or 15000 ?! Nobody - not me anyway. And 100 £ par tenner - I have not anyway, I am most of the time broke - will give more money for Nepal ! We could raise more than 30000 pounds and eveybody will be pleased. It is reality. And most of us have all participited for Nepal charity too, so it could be a thank for everybody. As said Plip, it could be a great participation and a thank for all of us, to have a tenner. Who 'll flip with this tenner ? Not me anyway ! Easy to find and block the flippers ( we can engage engage ourselves to don't make profit with it ) .... And everybody wil be pleased, why to be hyppocrit ? If people put bids on items with value ( as more than 1000 on the Kunstrazen per example ) and only give 15 £ on my sales, it has shown anyway, that people wants to give for charity , ok, but not to buy anything as my drawings per example !

Anyway, I see this world now to each comment or post : " raffle " or " raffle tickets " I really don't understand it,Nice Word anyway.
In France a raffle with one " f " means roundup ( or raid ) .. La Rafle , in the war.

The last few posts in this thread actually made me forget what the entire point of it was. In an attempt to remind myself, I want to tip my hat to delloy and others that have selflessly donated their items and time for the sole purpose of helping others in need. Really, well done all of you.

But in your first message you've said that you want to do an auction only for this forum. Why not just run a raffle on this forum with everyone donating £5/£10 via your PayPal? Nice and simple. Because, quite obviously, that wouldn't raise anywhere near as much as opening it up to everyone. To summarize: Lazarides is hosting a raffle to raise relief funds for Nepal. They've donated a generous package which include a pair of Difaced Tenners made famous on Banksy's Exit Through the Gift Shop and a special edition copy of "Outsiders" (pics on Pg. 17?) . Although Tenners are easily found on eBay, they're most likely fake reproductions by third parties; some may not be, but these here are in fact special because they're authenticated by a credible source (most likely packaged with COA). Here are the dilemmas': *They want the raffle open to the general public to raise as much relief funds as humanly possible. (Understood) *They want to avoid "transaction fees" or "percentages %" collected by the platforms that could potentially host the raffle, which include Just Giving, eBay, PayPal... "Got it; every penny matters" Here's an idea: *Lazarides states an amount per raffle ticket. *They pick a Nepal Relief Aid organization of their choice... because they're the contributing host. *They set a time frame (to include dates, hours, & time zone) to donate to the respected organization. (I'm from fucken LA.. u assholes forget) *They make the raffle announcement publicly via newsletter, posting on Instagram, twitter, art forums, word of mouth. *Donors fwd confirmation slips to a temporary email address set up by Lazarides at their direction. If they state every raffle ticket is 20 GBP, and you donate 40, then you get entered twice. They use a Randomizer App to do the dirty work and announce the grand total raised at their discretion. (or whatever; their rules) Here's the thing "THE SHOW MUST GO ON!". Although this may cause a bit more work.... the money gets to the relief organization(s) much faster this way... we "Pay it Forward". Any fees/ interests associated with the transaction are paid by us per our agreement with PayPal, or credit card company.

Well that seems to be about it for the first round.
A big shout out to all of you who contributed or bid on the items. Thankyou for getting everything out on time and shipped, great effort by all. I will announce the final figure once the second round has taken place.
We have some great artist donated items coming in the second round. There will not be as much as the first round Im thinking maybe 20 - 30 lots at a guess, but we will see how it goes over the course of the week. Any more donations greatly received.
Lets hope the price on the JJ piece doubles in the next few days.
As you probably already know if you have been following the thread. I will be taking a week off from auctioning to clear my head then will be back to the listing.
Thanks again everyone, we couldnt have done it without all your kind donations.
Namaste D

Thank you LAZARIDES EDITIONS ! That's really smart and fair ! ps : I posted it on facebook. Just for Twitter, your message is too long ( - 9 ) we have to cut " Amazing " ( friend ) , sorry for that... ;-)
