I'm finding the folk trying to figure out how they are going to weed out multiple entries in the lottery interesting.
Frustration at the thought of flippers entering 500 times?
Trying to find out a way to enter 500 times themselves?
Restrict it to those that already own? so only those already lucky enough to have one can get one?
Some have already suggested ways round the limit.
is this to try to genuinely try to improve chances to finally get a picture on their wall or just to resell at a 10 times profit.
Only time will tell I suppose.

I think it'd be great if they selected a one of the prints, say the Soup Can poster, as a place holder for the new Banksy print. It'd be a quick and easy way to verify names, addresses, cc info, etc. I love half baked theories.

so if you bought more than one of soup cans you're a flipper? If I were POW and my half baked theory were in place, then I would say yes. A person who buys 5 of a print (even if allowed) would be considered a "flipper." When allowed 5 and you buy 1, then you would appear to me to be a "safe bet." I think last time they were dropped it was limited to one, right? Again, I am just having fun here.

So what have people picked up then? i caved and grabbed a 3D, I've been toying with the idea for a while but the fact they aren't screenprints has always put me off. i guess the hype got to me... hopefully it still looks the business. I will have to do some rearranging to fit it on my wall, but i'm sure i can make it work. ended up accidentally buying the disma tee's and a banksy show poster, they were already in my basket and i didn't notice i guess for some reason i thought the extra money was postage. not too bothered tho, you cant really go wrong with 3 tee's for a tenner.

I got banksy poster pack (a low number so thanks to whoever originally posted on here, I must have got in quick) and a pack of T's (I hope they fit) I need to find some reasonably priced poster frames now.

I've always used Nielsen frames for posters, pretty straightforward to put the work in and better quality than IKEA. But to be honest with you, the real reason i use them is that they are sold in the gallery i worked for so i got a discount.

I hope it includes a soup can print, it ill be my first official banksy.

gonna be a long couple of months if they keep trickling out inventory like the last couple of days. some great stuff.
had some luck to pick up some stuff on the morning of the announcement but seems to be A LOT tougher now that the vultures are swirling on the site.

I feel I shouldn't be asking such a basic question but here we are.
When the soup cans go up, what page are they on? I can never see them on the site, even as unavailable

"However, whilst Warhol's Soup Cans appear devoid of any social commentary, merely documenting the ubiquitous banalities inherent in advertising, Banksy's 'Tesco Value Tomato Soup' is undoubtedly a critique of the excesses of consumerism and power of the corporate giants, themes he later addresses in 'Tesco-Pledge Your Alliance'." - Bonhams www.bonhams.com/auctions/16484/lot/49/Despite fucking up the title of Pledge Your Allegiance, does anyone else see this as a critique of the excesses of consumerism? The Tesco value range is the 'most affordable'/cheapest of all - hardly rampant consumerism. Or would they argue it juxtaposes it? lol Also, is Warhol's Soup Cans devoid of social commentary? Just pretty inks on a page? You decide.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Warhol had a tin of soup every day for lunch?** Always thought the word 'Value' was key in the Banksy soup tins – for value read skint? Not a critique of consumerist excess for me, quite the opposite. **Prob just an urban myth, but I love it anyway!

To be honest, I'm more commenting to ask you neve to type 'lol' again, rather than any serious attempt at furthering the discussion...
