most people on here are over the age of sixteen. It is a forum made up of lots of different people with lots if different views etc.

What some find funny etc some don't etc but seen Ludo remarks, funny remarks the only real full on remarks tend to have been commented on by members who do not agree which is the point if a forum really. Other than things like racism etc people should really be able to express what they like and how they like and understand it is open for others to disagree.

Tis an art forum or are not going to allow art that is not polite either

Agreed - great post, needed to be said.

I like this forum, I like the free speech and banter and jokes and I like the possibilities of what this forum can grow to become.

But in the same week we all welcomed a school age young aspiring artist who probably came on here at the recommendation of her dad the default avatars were changed to donkey dicks and there were conversations that randomly changed to fucking mums, sisters, and skulls.

I'm not prudish or easily offended but I joined this forum to enjoy art and if this forum is to grow in the right direction and not just a place for banter and filthy jokes then it should at least have a permanent thread or area that's just for the discussion of donkey dicks and other related posts about fucking.

That way at least new members won't start wondering what the fuck is going on here.

Is it though. I thought it was an open forum for anyone interested in art. If I'm wrong about that then is it at least a forum for adults interested in art. 

If I'm wrong about that as well then change the domain name to donkey cocks & skull fuckers anonymous so google doesn't bring this site up when searching for art forums. 

Think @monkey face is making a fair point there and although I believe in not over regulating members should respect that not everyone wants the F word as the main firm of language as it is an Art Forum as opposed to a Fff Forum. Pretty sure they will exist for those that want that.

Also think that something that is giving some of the indicated type threads a higher profile is that we as members are not generating enough Art content which should be the priority and people should look to generate more content.

Something I have noticed in this thread is mentions of stuff that I was unaware of eo I assume they are in the other threads iir the jay boy threads.

I would just dump those threads. As it's an art forum is anybody apart from him and people abusing him really interested. If they are its not hard to find him but oersonally would just dump the threads. There are two jay boy threads on the front page just get rid. Anyone interested in him can be directed to UAA.
You do not see much swearing or abuse etc on the proper art related threads. So think the creation of decent art threads will remove most of what is perceived as a problem and also think Monkey's idea of an area for say banter is not a bad idea

You do spend quite a lot of time on the me me subject.......it's not rules mate it's just a little respect as your not the only one. As per my posts I don't want lots of rules.

Likewise Badrobots moaning but the first page of his posts has plenty of the f word in. I actually think he was more annoyed by someone wearing suits and shoes from a cobblers!!

So not sure anyone is trying to remove the f word but then again does not need to be every second word either.

I would just delete the JBoy threads because they suit him and have no other purpose. Everyone who wanted to express their distaste for him has done it. Basically time to move on and not promote him. Why do you think he visits and keeps it going because he wants it to stop......don't think so he wants his name on the first page. You keep it there every time you post

This is a change of events, the forum started off "fucking welcome asshole" and "good to see you here dickhead" etc It was bonding and liberty and a little anarchy, celebrating getting a decent crowd together without rules and regulations to talk about a common interest and have a laugh, would hate it to become a place where you have to be wary of what you say, some swear more than others thats just reality. I learnt the majority of the swear words in primary school like most people, watch a nature programme and theres plenty dicks and fucking, cant imagine too many being offended, most of the swearing is attached to humour rather than aggression. Intigrate with those you want to ignore the ones you dont, dont make it sterile and corporate, keep it edgy, keep it real??

I feel that there are people out there who want to see this forum fail. They have come here to raise hell for obvious reasons. Let's not give them the satisfaction. United we will succeed.
