Have been following this thread and others on UK election, and I find all of this left vs. right debate so fucking farcical... Now back to my bottle of whisky, rant over While you may well be right about us all being fucked, no matter who is in power, in terms of wealth creation ( or not ), there are certain differences that make it important who is in power. For example, I doubt if a left wing government would attempt to bring back fox hunting. I'd like to think that a left wing government would not consider scrapping the Human Rights Act. In other words, there are plenty of differences that set the parties apart; and as far as I am concerned scrapping legislation that makes us a more civilised society is not acceptable. And sometimes the opposition is stacked so heavily in favour of the status quo, and the privileged, that the only way of being heard is to get angry.

What's with the 'click to expand quote' gubbins? thought it kept the site from getting too cluttered. Not a fan? please define gibbons so I can use it during everyday conversations gubbins general clutter, stuff, a collection or assortment of unconnected items. "He had a lot of gubbins in his backpack"

The word 'gubbins' isn't used enough in our everyday world. Too right sean - I tried to make the cunts here build it in to the fabric of the place and they effectively told me to fuck off and do one The 'Not Banksy Gubbins' on Pro Boards would piss all over the opposition.

I thought Wishbone was a carpet shop?? ;P Is that why all their art is sold matted? I walked through the green room just after Wishbone Ash had come off stage, and one of them turned to one of the other band members - who was dressed all in white - and said 'You don't half look a fuckin' prat dressed like that!" Nothing to do with art, but makes me chuckle.

Give me a coherent intelligent argument for why it's good work. Thanks. Yeah I will do when I am not so tired , but for now I am Still trying to work out your avatar picture is it a frog with a bra on its head giving the fingers up with an eyeball for a face?? It's a self-portrait mate. She's the easiest person to spot at an exhibition. ( And that's her own bra )

Sleepwalker could very easily be a motivational poster in the ATOS staffroom. Atos have an office in my building. I've seen it all with people carrying crutches up to the building and then limping in but more often that not the people who attend ATOS assessments are in such a bad way that they shouldn't be 'made' to go there in the first place. As if people who can't work because they're unable to have no self respect and dignity?? The way this government treat disadvantaged people is a disgrace. ATOS had their contract terminated in 2014, such was their performance. Worth noting that since this happened the 'benefits issue' hasn't been in the news, primarily because ATOS have not been replaced and the govt has seen fit to let the issue fall out of the limelight as there was an election on the horizon. Instead, the govts focus has been on immigration with money and labour being channelled in this area. PS. I'm no longer registered on 'the other side' but ( veralynn ) your post on 'Introduce Yourself' thread made me laugh. Not sure many on there will get it.

Do we have Coach? Grahamh? ShaunQ? Wiz? Supercockle? Headfall? I think all yes. Headfall reporting for duty sir, but back under my real name. We're all here mate, sitting cross-legged and lacing daisys into each others hair, taking in the fresh air of this new place.
