Looks likes we won't be seeing this there anymore...... Don't know what's got me more annoyed - the theft of the art or this guy's spelling. It's 'security's'

Yes, and in the same outfit. Hoping to get down next Friday if I can tickets. You? If I can get a ticket and a not-easily-frightened dog-sitter, then I will try to go next week. I'm hesitant to pick a day, as I have a feeling it'll be a mad scramble. Ideally Friday, but we'll see. Friday evenings will be in demand. Fingers crossed. Maybe we can tut and complain about the weather to each other in a queue for a ride or something? Might try and borrow a sullen spoilt 12 year old for that authentic miserable queuing experience, at the same time as scraping newly acquired dog mess off my shoe obtained from the promenade. Think you're right about a mad scramble, particularly as it's a bank holiday weekend.

This is outrageous who the heck are they expecting to go to the Download festival? I recently had to call Leicester Police after purchasing an expensive online airline ticket that didn't exist and they were unable to do anything at all to help, they wouldn't even visit the address 10 minutes walk away from the police station to find out what was going on! I eventually got my money back by visiting their offices with a person much bigger than me! I've also recently had to call on the police in London after my lock up, along with 4 others, was broken into and all my stock was stolen, £1000's of pounds worth of vintage designer clothes I managed to find the thieves van registration number plates on the CCTV yet they still won't do anything! PATHETIC. Protect & Serve ...... yeah right? My local station now has one of those deli counter ticket machines that gives out incident numbers. Waste of time reporting most crime these days. Puts you off being a law-abiding citizen. The current state of the police is shocking. They're basically a bunch of playground bullies who look for easy targets. They've long since lost the plot, seeing fit to work for themselves and what they think should be the law as opposed to working for our benefit. Bunch of c***s the lot of them. Must be a tough gig targeting white middle-class people at a rock festival.

Just finished watching Ken Loach (Kes, The Wind that Shakes The Barley, Sweet Sixteen, Riff Raff...) in conversation with Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, The wind That Shakes The Barley). Phenomenal discussion about film, culture, life, and the reality of people in the UK without a voice. I'll post an i-Player link later – well worth watching! Will watch as you've recommended it. These are worrying times.

Thanks Sean! Looks like there's still some free tickets – will try to wriggle out of work for this Did you go mate? If so thoughts? Enjoyed it, and didn't realise how much animosity there was between Rat and the Captain, mainly because of the latter being a twat, refusing to let a few things go. The Q & A was interesting. Rat appears genuinely upset that he's been excluded from a band that he started and was so much a part of. Bit too much footage of current Damned incarnation, who are just a cartoon punk band now.

so sean was... in this car where the driver, someone he did not like, was eating rather 'seriously' with a knife and fork and ... steering said vehicle.. with the palm of their hand.. regaling a recent ..(i'd guess fun) experience.... when strangely the vehicle.. went out of control... being written off. ..funny old world... in context of course... then the thread was deleted... cough cough. If I ever kill anyone it will be because they are holding their knife wrong, i.e with the handle resting above the thumb and first finger ( not the palm ). Wrong, wrong, wrong.

We could do with something positive in this country after allowing the minority to vote in the privileged elite to fuck us over. Restores ones faith.
