Not really TV, film or doc, but I couldn't think where else to put it.

I was amused to see Banksy came up in a Coronation Street storyline. I accidentally came across it on YT while stalking Banksy. I ain't a Corrie fan or nuffin'. Honest. Anyway, Sally's gaff got graffitied and, thinking it was a Banksy, called an expert in to take a look at it. I'm amazed Robin Barton didn't put in a cameo.

For a laugh though, did Steph and Andy manage to dissuade Nick from reporting them for fraud? Did Beth find out about Craig's whereabouts after school? And what of Todd's revenge plot, were the final pieces put into place?

Check out the book, if you haven't already. Quite an eye-opener, the amount of time that she has to wait for her trial is mind boggling. Needless to say that the book differs to the series in many ways - as is generally the case with these things. Definitely worth a read if you've got the time.

just finished watching season 1 of "Halt and catch Fire"... and I really loved it... very realistic (from what I've read) account of the origins of the PC revolution. plus it has a killer soundtrack. punk, synth-punk, minimal synth stuff

Went to see the movie of London Road t'other night and really enjoyed it. Didn't quite carry it off in the same way as the theatre production but highly unusual and a unique British film.

Watched It Follows last night. Not too bad, and worth a watch. Watched this last night on the back of your recommendation. Better than i thought, an interesting idea that prompted some empathy from the viewer - what would i do in that position etc. Thought the soundtrack worked well and got caught off guard by the ending. But then, how were they supposed to end it? Cheers for the recommendation Aza

The back stories are as good as ever, but the piper/alex story line is a bit tiresome for me. Fortunately, the rest of the show is carrying them.
