Who I've got my eye on: Paul Insect is in a zone, love what he's doing right now. I really enjoy Combo from France and wish he'd get a little more attn around here. Cant wait for the Eine, Sickboy, & Word To Mother group show in August...will be bonkers. Also watching Don't Fret and Hebru Brantley, as always!

I'm looking forward to this cymruplan as I've been following Sepe's progression for a couple of years.

I'm looking forward to this cymruplan as I've been following Sepe's progression for a couple of years. Just had a look at the preview - looks great. He seems to have similar influences to Robert Proch but with a dark sinister humour.

Sepe just completed this secret mural in his hometown of Warsaw. Absolutely LOVE this. I'd not heard of Sepe before. Saw a post about his current show on Instagram from one of the art blogs. Really excited to discover more of his work. There are two prints currently available from MAE Gallery. I really like Parade Pinokios.

I'm super delighted. Been a while since I got captivated by an artist. Thanks to all who shared bout Sepe. I checked out Mae Gallery and will be buying the 'Pinokios' print tmr. Top notch! As a result I also stumbled upon Kazuki Takamatsu. Stunning... ...And 'Penny'. Talk about the ripple effect. Thanks again guys, now I have to decide which of these to spend my rent money on.

Ray Bartkus’ upside down wall in Lithuania Raising awareness on the way we look at objects, Bartkus intentionally painted the mural upside-down so that the swimmers, rowers and swans he depicted would be reflected right-side-up on the river Šešupė, which flows through the city’s centre. Wow, that's brilliant and very clever. I would love to see that for real. I'm looking on my phone and it looks like the top picture has been photoshopped. Very nice find.

Main top picture 100% photoshopped but still excellent idea. They'd need some seriously still water to get a mirror image like that.

Well I think it's not just having the white reflected image area a photoshop solid graphic but the lack of natural perspective makes it look even more unnatural and 3-D in nature, when the real reflection would be distorted from the perspective making it look flat on the water. Anyway ... great in theory but as you said would need glass still water to get the desired effect.
