Really like those Lala Badden works new on me so thx
Was over in Thailand and came across two great Thai street artists not new but really got into them. Alex Face doing some great work and also Bon. Neither are new but sort of new on me. Had seen there work without really knowing it. Have just seen a fair bit and really liked it.

Vermibus - ‘Dissolving Europe’
Vermibus collects advertising posters from the streets by unlocking them for their display cases. He takes them back to his studio and brushes the faces of the models—as well as the brand logos—with a mixture of solvents, dissolving them in the process.
After mutilating them, the artist reintroduces the posters back onto the streets, placing them in different locations around Europe.
According to the Vermibus, he described the project as a way to “temporally highjack the western world of advertisements in the name of fine art”.
“The gesture of erasing the images with solvent is similar to the gesture of painting, but it is painting counter action,” said the bio on his website. “The process is the same, but it is not adding colors on a canvas to create an image, it is removing the colors of an existing photographic image to create a new image and new characters.”
“By using the advertising space and how the human figures are represented in that space, Vermibus is removing the masks that we wear and is criticizing advertisement which takes away a person’s identity to replace it by the one of the brand.”
