Good idea, a little less hate can't be wrong Little morning quote : If you don't like a print, get off the internet, take a coffee, and watch the sky : it's free. Take a good breathe, The sky is not jealous nor upset because you stole a bit of its wifi, in the air. Then, go back to bed and read a book. God morning all !

It would make for incredibly dull forums if people only posted positive comments about each release. Personally, I think the finish looks really good on this print and the image is clean and fresh. But, I've never heard of Gonefellow, and I wouldn't dream of paying anything more than c.£25 for it. A better idea would have been this image produced as some type of HPM on canvass edition. As I'm never keen on new artists launching straight into prints and bypassing originals.

As I'm never keen on new artists launching straight into prints and bypassing originals. Good point! I think it is very hard to stick a price on a piece of art. Some pay 100k on a signed print in an edition of well over 500 in total. And others passed the opportunity to buy that very same print for let's say 1k in the past. It is weird and i never know what to pay for art. It is what a person is willing to (and can) pay i guess. Personally i think Modern Multiples always make quality prints. It is no secret that i love the Banksy LA editions. And a print done in their print house isn't cheap i reckon. Which means (imo) that Castle has seen the quality of Gonefellow's (original?) work and thought it was well worth spending the extra cash to get the print done with MM. I trust Castle anytime and when he thinks the artist is a good artist and the art is printed with a quality printer then why not spend the extra cash (on Gonefella's first ?) release? Mind you, this is my way of thinking it over. But i agree that 200GBP is a lot of money to spend on any print imo.

Nobody liked my comment I will like it as Gonefellow'spring ! :-) Just saying , I have paid by the past some prints of wellknown artists , and do you know why ? If I want to sell one, nobody wants it , or at half or a quarter the price that I have bought ( I buy prints because I like them, not to sell - apart if I really need money or another thing - not to flip ). Names : Eine, Eelus, Isaac Cordal, The lps of Roa, obey, gibbons of Roa, etc etc , and so many artists that I forgot their names !! ... People buy because it's the hype, after they don't want them! Too late as an adidas series or collection lol ! ( and apart Banksy too or at another level, Invader - but not all, some did not find an yawner , as the Crash print by Dran ) .. They want hit parade prints of in the charts ! Then, nothing ... It's why now I prefer to get a little artist not very wellknown that all these 600 quids prints/artists and more ! Letiss : you are right ( canvas , price etc ... ) but Json answered you about that .... I believe in art and I trust good persons. Not mercantile and commercials art banksters... Still good morning all !

It looks fine, it's on the wall and you're enjoying it. Too many people become too precious over some pieces of paper.

Art is slow, and so is the artist sometimes.
I'll be honest with you, at this point, it's probably not going to be worth waiting for.
I was all set to mail it, then Brexit happened, the pound plummeted and it'll cost about £18,000 to post it to you.
I will find a way. I still have a liver I can sell.

Very interesting article, i've often wondered if Banksy was secretly putting artwork out there. good read... glad to see Dr.Plip and CastleGalleryNI get the publicity we all know they deserve i remember I used to think Meek, Ghostboy, and/or El Chivo were all Banksy "side projects" at one point. who knows

Well, while I don't know Gonefellow personally, I believe he's a talented scribbler with a good sense of humour, so I hope he continues to make artwork and release prints.
And while I don't know Castle Gallery personally, I believe.......... err...it's a gallery? Possibly in a Castle?
This image was a parody and never meant to be the second coming. I think? Could be wrong though.
Anyway, make more and if people like them, they can buy them. If they don't, then they can talk about how they don't like them. The world is fucking amazing and we're incredibly fortunate to be a part of it. Unless you're on fire. Or short. Poor tiny bastards...

Gonefellow was a member on these forums and came up with the image a while back. So unless he was Banksy all along, this article is ridiculous and just speculative drivel.
