must say, I like the image, but not many of the comments on this thread except the "dr plip is full of merde" Lol, why you dont like so much the comments ? I did not read here some reprehensible things, nor dirty... Maybe you don't like my pics so ?.... Anyway, thats a print and I like the people around this print. Better buy in a good bakery with a smiling lovely young girl ( A per exmaple than in a impersonal porno supermarket with antipathetic and ugly bastards behind the counter, just waiting for your money a truncheon behind their big and fat belly

Gonefellow was a member on these forums and came up with the image a while back. So unless he was Banksy all along, this article is ridiculous and just speculative drivel. Well, that does fit Banksy..... So he might be Banksy after all??

The thing what strikes me most is that they never quoted Gonefellow or contacted Pest. They did a lot of digging on the interwebs but never quoted the artist. That is just weird imo.
Another thing (and going out on a limb here) is; Why didn't they also contact Pest if they wanted to proof that he is/isn't Banksy. They would deny nor admit the whole thing. Which would make Jo think about posting an official comment on instagram denying the whole matter in a day or two. Probably posting a picture of her holding a Samsung telephone denying she has his number so therefore also can not have been the one who slept with the poor man.
Which would make us wonder...... Is Gonefellow a man or a women....
Just my 2c

In the fisrg one the driver is a worker, in the second one he is a ". Young " man with glasses ( why ? A man from Sincura ? RG ? A Hipster ? ) and suit , the colors ( 16 ? Too ) were very lightening. In the second print they are pastel , etc etc... the Coa (. I am not an expert in calligraphy ) is written in a " letter " style " , as the " letter " for the kids in the school , to finish, I live this humor in the COA, why G. Does insist so much about flippers, selling the print etc etc ... edit: multiple chances has a great history and is far away from Ireland ! :-)

In one way, I would love for these to turn out to be a Banksy. On the other hand it would open up floodgates to a load of scamming, with people making similar stories like with outis. I bet Banksy regrets the NY stunt now after seeing so many people getting ripped off after dismaland with fake canvases. To be honest, I'm quite surprised pow have never made a statement regarding all the fake bullshit out there. Either way I prefer this image to the Banksy ones that were gifted to dismaland staff.

Would anyone flip it if it was a Gonefellow Print and someone offered 20k?? If someone is "adventurous" enough to pay 10X the original cost, have at it... I am curious how G got paid though... Was it a check with Gonefellow (or G for that matter) as the recipient? If so, I want to know that bank Carry on....

brovo My friend , Great post ! Would you flip it for €20k if it was a Banksy dodcoquelicot? Ahah lol ! I never sell any treasure ( or per necessity - as Lp or stickers that have , as wine , 5 years old age ) , I love too much art for that! I will tell you, Now, I prefer to buy little stuff from mates than big Chantilly pancakes from big artists - Blek is a bit exaggerating , he sells at the moment for 1200 euros, a box a 3 prints with the Beggar, etc etc ... my only regret at the moment is to sell The LP , the Banksy years , That I have cherished ... and my other tirnamenf was to sell the iconic clown sticker by B... Gonefelluw will never go as I never sold any prints apart Eelus that I hate.. Ah ! I sold my Stik signed don't panic poster too , had no choice. Never I will sell a real B - I have not apart Petrol bomb poster - or G , nor any BCG vaccine, my life depends of art , art saved me , and iam dying now because I have not any creation in my mind ... im sure that I'm a looser.. who likes loosers ? Apart some rare and virtual friends here or there ...

I think it depends on the situation also. I would never sell any art to gain personally profit. But that is because i don't want to make money with selling art and i don't need that extra cash. If i lost my job or i was about to loose my house that would be a totally different situation. I have a question; Why is the article called "Is the Artist Who Made This Print Secretly Banksy?" And why does the journalist answer that question himself in the 4th paragraph telling us it is probably not. Just click bait or did he start out with a legit question and after much work he found out the print was not done by Banksy, rendering all his work obsolete.... And because of all his work just run the article anyhow?

I used to collect rare vids years ago and I still have boxes of them stacked from floor to ceiling. Some are probably worth quite a bit but until I need the cash they will stay there collecting dust.

Is Gonefellow a man or a women.... Just my 2c this quote near the top kinda bugged me - "Banksy (you know, the most influential street artist ever)". Most popular? Yeah. Greatest? objectively. Most important? only time will tell. But most influential? you'd have to disregard stencil artists that go back hundreds of years, activists like Naomi Klein, Adbusters, JT LeRoy/Laura Albert and others playing with anonymity, Barbara Kruger, Marchel DuChamp, Warhol, Hariing, Basquiat (and all other artists that took their work from street to galleries), performance artists like Joey Skaggs and The Yes Men, punk rock and its DIY mentality, and of course all the OG writers. Yes, B has pretty uniquely mashed all this up into something vaguely new and definitely refreshing, but I think it's quite a stretch to say everything post-Banksy was that different from what came before him. He's "just" and extension and ambassador of a movement that's been happening for decades

I must admit, i miss the long threads discussing everything involved with Banksy. The silly and strange topics but also the clues and meaning of his art. It seems those discussing days are over? Threads keep quiet and opinions unshared. These talks drew me in in the first place, interested in every subject around Banksy and streetart. Long discussions with fellow forumites and settle disagreements with a smile. Now i find myself in a near empty thread about an artist linked to (?) Banksy and no one speaks his mind. Strange.... and sad

So unless he was Banksy all along, this article is ridiculous and just speculative drivel. lol très cher ami, And The articles about Massive Attacks, Robin Gunningham, ( I don't speak about BNE ) , all the new graffiti in stencil style that make speak all the newspapers etc etc ... They are all ridiculous less or more , as we all wait for a validation by Jo B. Because we know nothing ( or a few ). And it's more messy today because Banksy seems to ce mur a " brand " That a ( one ) man ( show ) .. Secrecy an old nan told me in the legendary forest of Annapurna, secrecy .... Dismaland was great anyway ! Thanks folks ! Yours, Roy
