For all things JJ Adams I only discovered his work late last year though a mate but find it quite cheap, good fun, and wall friendly. I know he isn't a contemporary or street artist and more mainstream pop art but thought i would share a few pics of his works. He releases lots of work throughout the year so no need for that secondary market hype nonsense  Like wise dazarino, I checked his website out and really liked some of the Tattoo theme prints his done. Like you said its more mainstream but certainly one I will be watching in the future. |

I really don't get this guy. To me he combines the bad traits of many artists
- the desperate crowd pleasing imagery of RYCA (Star Wars, back to the future)
- the obvious aesthetics of Chevrier (women and comics yay)
- the cheap taste of lowbrow art (lesbian Superwoman, really)
- the tired brainless recipes of MBW (just add royalty / kate moss / random splashes of paint)
Not dissing the guy, I always respect people who have success and a following by doing their thing , and I have really really poor taste in general
Happy to hear from the fans though, what am I missing here ?

You don't have bad taste mattl, it's just for us geeks who can't hate anything based on our childhood movie memories. Honestly I know it's not groundbreaking but just think it's a bit of fun and pleasing on the eye. Weird thing,I've actually witnessed two pensioners argue over who got the last print of an image of boba fett sitting in a delorian at his spring print release show in brighton. Was strange as fuck.
His market is not serious art collectors but people who just like the images.

That 70s/80s generation. All grown up and with some of that disposable income I keep reading about.

just think it's a bit of fun and pleasing on the eye. That I get, and can totally relate. One of my favorite prints, framed in my home office, I RYCA's Harry Fet. It's just fun, and looks great, and that's why i like it |
