remi rough sent a message wishing us luck, he's donated a piece elsewhere for Nepal. He did mention that the DEC (disasters and emergency committee) might be a good place to donate unless you had other ideas delloy ?

I'd gladly donate some of my artwork, but I'm not quite sure they're the kind of thing people would pay money for. I'll have a look through my drawers and see if I can find something interesting to donate though. I'd pay for that penis Invader you made

I stated earlier in the thread I was going to run the auction here but have a few ideas in PM from other members. How do people feel about running it solely here on the forum? The original suggestion was that each person who wins a piece in the auction would just donate that amount to a Nepal Earthquake charity of their choice, then PM the receipt details of that donation to me as a way of confirming payment has been made. Only then will the item be shipped to the winner. The other option was just to collate all the money raised and give to a single charity helping the relief. Which as yet is undecided. Remi Rough has suggested the Disasters and Emergency committee, perhaps we should set up a poll of relevant charities at the top of the thread to decide. Is this possible to do Fed? Another option suggested was through Ebay Giving. I will have to do a bit more research on that as I nothing of how it works and if the blighters take commission on sales thats a straight up NO from me! Let me hear your thoughts and thankyou to everyone that has been pledged so far. Wonderful

Wonderful how about this? i've donated to a variety of causes through this site (each time, started by friends) seem to works well? home.justgiving.com/(edit) maybe we could do a hybrid thing? Bid together and make donations here? I'd like to make a donation either way delloy.

I'd pay for that penis Invader you made Well I already owe you that for the artwork you've already sent me. But if you want to make a donation towards the cause, I'll gladly include something else with it. Although, you're already donating artwork for auction, so it's up to you.

EBay might not be a bad idea, can push a lot of people there from here and even uaa, it's all for a good cause. Likely to get outsiders bidding too. I'm sure you can choose the charity they go to on eBay. Just an idea

EBAY is the place, IMO. You can select the charity, percentage, etc. Visibility is tops, easy to share links on FB, Twitter, email, etc.

I'd be more than happy to offer one of my own works if that would be of interest...maybe a 1/1 variation of an exciting image or something new if I can come up with a decent idea that would suit the cause.

This has impacted on me & mrs dread also. We visited Nepal & Kathmandu last year primarily to visit an orphanage a good friend of mine has supported over the years. The people & kids we met were lovely & it is shocking to see the footage on tv at the moment. We've heard that they all are fine but unable to return to the house as it suffered cracking & may be structurally unsafe. The kids are all in tents at this time. www.facebook.com/GharSitaMutuSorry to hijack but it would be wrong if I didn't mention them here. Good effort on the fundraising delloy. I vote for the ebay route too but I thought 100%donations were possible.

I've dug out a few bits. I haven't photographed them yet or checked there mintiness, I can do that tomorrow. There's a very cool print by Peter Kennard & Cat Phillips titled 'Smash & Grab' from 2009, I really like it although know both artists would be happy for it to go towards the auction. A mini crying queen by Paul 'Don' Smith that I have meant to frame for 5 years and still haven't - the image seems appropriate. An enormous Jamie Hewlett Noodle promo poster, used and well loved and a rather crinkled double sided Kid Acne poster from many years ago. I doubt the posters will make a huge amount of cash owing to their condition although worth a few quid to a collector or someone who would like to buy/donate on a budget.

Happy to donate a "LA Love" hand finished print from the late Ben Naz Has the method and charity been selected for these? I'm fully capable of having auction items on our site as well. The only item I strongly suggest is we pick a worthy charity and stay away from the Red Cross. Want to keep things positive here so no need to go into my reasoning for not going with the Red Cross. Maybe in another thread

The more charities we donate to, the better. I take no offense, everyone has their opinions. That being said, how about charity:water? They are very active with water issues in the affected area.

I'm pretty sure 100% went to the charities, though seller has to cover paypal and shipping fees. I've got an eBay charity account set up that you're welcome to use if that makes it easier delloy

Or name a price on it (within reason) and I'll buy it. You or I can send the money to Delloy. Could do with one of your works

Morning everyone, sorry I didnt reply last night, I was beginning to get a little frazzled! Ok so the general concensus is ebay? Looks like that is the route to take. Again I must thankyou all for the donations thus far, this is shaping up nicely now with some great stuff being donated and some fab artists onboard. It seems it might turn into a bit of a behemoth as my local paper has now asked if they can put a article/advert for the auction in the next issue. I will be at work today so wont be able to update with progress much, and will be looking into the ebay side of things later this evening. kunstrasen Thankyou for your kind offer, much appreciated blackappleart Cheers for that Federationofideas I will PM later about that ebay account johnnyh Thankyou for the offer to buy the Kunstrasen, but as it was offered as an auction item I think it best for it to be placed with the other lots to give everyone that wants to bid on it a chance. Great work thus far Forumites and artists....keep it up
