Trying to be constructive here. Who would you like the funds to go to? I appreciate your stance on the Red Cross.
I suggest Charity:Water, we already have a fund set up:

Lots of pieces worth chasing, especially for a good cause. Do I understand correctly that, other than the few already on the bay, there will be a coordinated release on everything up for bid? Hi there, that's right will be a coordinated release, a couple of people have generously placed some pieces on eBay already but we are looking at putting everything else up under one account which is in the process of being set up. I'm sure delloy will see your comments on charities, Think it should be down to delloy to make the final decision though as he started this rolling... Amazed by the generosity - if anyone else wants to donate please PM delloy and make his day! |

Thankyou all this is turning into something special! A big pat /slap on the back to all concerned.
I will be hopefully posting up details later on how this is all going to work and who is to be the nominated charity. Keep sending those PMs with donations
I am keeping the lots under wraps for a minute I think it will be a nice surprise for evryone when you see what we have achieved.

We'd like to donate a couple of Di-Faced Tenners and a special edition of The Outsiders book, highest bidder gets the lot. Only caveat is we'll run the auction exclusively for members of this forum to save getting lost amongst the plethora of shonky Tenners on eBay. Amazing stuff. This is a great cause and so important. Although my collection is pretty small, I'm going to take look through my portfolio too.
And the Di-Faced Tenner is one of the top four of my all-time most sought after items (although, of course, I hope it brings in more relief money than I will be able to afford).

OK Donators, I will need all the people who have pledged artwork or anything else to start sending me pics of the items donated, with full description, Start price if any and any other pertinent information. I am taking a day off work this week on Friday to list them all up on ebay for this weekend (fingers crossed all going well.) The items will be all under the forum ebay.com account. I would just like to say. This is a Forum Auction and that is what it will be listed as, not just something I have thought up everybody has contributed in a big way and deserves a huge big pat on the back.
