Currently watching the 2nd series of 'Fortitude'. It's very twisted and so much better than the 1st series.

one of the best docs I've seen in a while... probably since CitizenFour
question for my non-US friends - do you think the historic racism in America is equal to where you live?

Sorry friends – we probably don't need Conflict (here's the link I meant to post...)

fantastic new doc up on Netflix US... fuck Nick Denton and Gawker, but this movie does a great job showing the importance of the freedom on an independent press, and how we're in danger of losing it

The latest Louis Theroux series "Dark States" on BBC2 is difficult viewing but well worth watching. It's a hard way to end a weekend on Sunday night but it's compelling. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09919j2

Did anyone watch last night's BBC Louis Theroux on Scientology? If he wasn't already a "national treasure" he most certainly is by now! (at least in my eyes

(at least in my eyes loved it... speaking of Louis Theroux, Jon Ronson has a new audio book out called 'The Butterfly Effect" that's really good (what's the connection? I always confuse those two, and I love everything they both do). Also - anyone watch the Ken Burns Vietnam doc series? So devastating... especially with the Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross score... I don't recommend binge watching it

I need to hunt it out elsewhere as I would like to see this, as horrible as it no doubt is.

@fed
Watched the "blurred lines" doco which was great - dense with soundbites and deserves another watch
The Vietnam War doc in 10 parts which has recently finished on BBC4 was up there with one of the best documentary series I've ever seen.. really moving and shocking in equal measure. It's difficult to sum this one up, suffice to say it was a real eye opener in many ways. wow, just wow. powerful stuff.
I'm moving on to the american civil war doco on netflix by ken burns - "civil War"
