Look it's simple very simple Pow do not need the shit of 100,000+ people hassling them constantly If you'd ever sold a banksy you'd know you get people offering you a cunt raisen canvas, a toblerone and a sob story Time and money wasted, when you can deal with a controlled small number of people who aren't fucking idiots. And guess what? You make more money. Control Power Money So it is about inbox flooding. Thanks for clearing it up.
Personally, I like the idea of Banksy targeting a few deep-pocketed gits who fell pray to his potential market manipulation to help fund his larger, more philanthropic projects. I also like the idea of him gifting these new prints to "lesser" artists who have helped him along the way, so that they can in turn sell them at auction to the aforementioned gits.

The actual existence or number of these "special" pieces really is of no significance to the overall market in regard to supply as they are insignificant quantities to have an affect on demand. Very cloudy as what to expect as far as "official" releases from here on out if any but what we can count on is more elaborate, thought provoking and attention grabbing spectacles as he continues to step up what he is best at, street work. IMO his outside works are by far the most meaningful, entertaining and bring the most excitement for me. I think that the very best work he does everyone gets for free ( aside from this "forgive us" piece that has just surfaced...I really want that fucker)  |
